Gavin DeGraw Concert

I had a wonderful time in Louisville! Terra and Virgil invited me for a weekend away and it was so much fun! I really needed to get away for a couple of days! Gotta love a free concert! And having gone out with the General Manager of the Hard Rock Cafe, well, let me tell you, that has it's own perks! We sat in the VIP section at the Hard Rock which gave us great seats for the concert. We got free drinks and food, and free t~shirts. The drinks were amazing!! We had frozen margaritas, pickeled tink's, strawberry daquari's, and of course my amazingly good shark attack drink. Mmmmmmm!! Had to hit the naughty stores while we were there. Wow! Who would have known the things you can buy at one of those stores in a bigger town haha! We spent way too much money in the 2 we stopped at haha. Got lots of great photos! Might have to sit down and make a mini album to remember it by!! here are a few photos of the trip!

My girl April came in from Florida and I wanted to share some pics while she was here. Also found the most AMAZING shoe store!! OMG! It is called Heels. How can you go wrong with a name like that? I walked in the door and I swear I heard "Hallelujah" playing! It was pure Heaven!

Poison Ivy and A Few Pics

So Brett managed to get himself into poison ivy somehow, and it is eating him alive! I had to take him to the doctor today because it is so bad, and he got a shot in his "booty" and liquid steriods for 5 days. Love his heart! It just keeps popping up more and more! His ear is covered, the whole side of his face, his chest, his belly, his wee~wee. Poor lil guy.

It is *almost* Friday!!

Hey all!! Haven't blogged for a while, thought I'd leave a quick update!! Kids are great! Brett lost his second tooth yesterday, sniff. He is getting so big!! Blake is at mom's for the next 2 weeks, and I am totally enjoying some peace and quiet and especially some alone time with Brett. We have had lots of fun this week. Work bites, as usual. One more day to go and then it is the weekend! Yippee!! Thought I'd share a few photos while I was at it. Hope you all are having a great week!! That cutie pie in uniform is my best friend, John. I love him dearly!!

PMS = A Bad Day For Mommy

Men suck! They just suck. I guess it is built into them when they are forming in the womb. It can't just be genetic, because lots of them come from wonderful families, so it has to be the entire species, which makes me wonder if I will be able to save the younger females from my own 2 little monsters when they become men? Is there hope for them? I try to teach them right from wrong, good manners, *and no Brett, burping and farting are NOT good manners, even if you DO say excuse me*. I was informed last nite by Brett that he doesn't kiss me because "I don't want to get girl germs" to which I promptly replied that mommies don't have girl germs. Sigh. I can't kiss him at school because "it isn't cool to kiss your mommy at school, momma". *Insert deeper sigh here* Blake has decided that he needs to wear my high heels around the house and put on my mascara while vaccuuming the floors with his toy vaccuum. Thanks to big bubby's help, he has also taken to telling me "no momma" when I ask him to do something. So this is what my Saturday was like, make up wearing, high heel trotting, backtalking children who wanted to play football and inform me I throw like a girl, not eat their veggies, nor take their baths, and most certainly NOT go to bed at a decent hour. So who can guess what I spent the eintre night doing, especially when I found out that Jason thought it was more important and more fun to go to a biker party in another state? Anyone want to guess?
